This is not currently actionable due to complexities of the deprecated Dropdown component and the fact that the new moz-select component is not yet finalized.

This bug should be focused on the new moz-select in the Desktop Components 3 library. Due to the deprecated one having split button variants that don't play nicely with my current knowledge of Code Connect, I don't think it's currently worth it to figure out a solution for the deprecated dropdown.
